FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: stepping motor made as specified in application materials comprises additional stators (1), located coaxially to the main one and forming longitudinal rows, phase coils of additional stators are connected with a switching device (5), and a rotor is installed inside stators. A control unit of the switching device (5) is arranged as capable of connection for fixation of the rotor in longitudinal direction of five phase coils (2), forming longitudinal rows, which have one phase sequence to the middle of the row, and the opposite phase sequence after the middle, besides, to start a rotor step in longitudinal direction - with the possibility of disconnection of the last phase coil of each longitudinal row, and to complete the step - with the possibility to disconnect the first phase coil of the row and to connect the last phase coil in each longitudinal row, and a phase coil, which follows the last coil of each initial row.
EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities as a result of discrete rotor displacement in axial direction.
