FIELD: chemical technology processes. SUBSTANCE: regular mass exchange packing has blocks of separate sheets, whose mass exchange surfaces form a volumetrically sectioned space. The sheets are arranged horizontally in the blocks of the packing. The mass exchange surfaces of each sheet are in the from of bent flaps, placed by rows with opposite direction of the flap bending in adjacent rows. The flaps may be apertural or they may have corrugated surface. Rows in the adjacent sheets of each block are longitudinally spaced by value, being no more, than a length of the bent flap.
