METHOD FOR RECOVERY NOBLE METALS FROM DUST CONCENTRATE OF AFFINAGE PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: dust concentrate of affinage production is processed together with waste magnesite lining of melting furnace, their mass ratio being 1: (5: 6). The process takes place by burdening. Then calcination at 350 C, leaching cinder consequently in hydrochloric acid and ammonia peroxide solutions, and evaporation of chloride solution to dry salts are carried out. Said salts are calcined in air stream at 650-+10 C, residue being returned for burdening together with dust concentrate. Thus mass of the product which is fed for enrichment 4-5 times, total amount of platinum metals in desired product increases 3.3-3.8 times, thus it is possible to prepare chlorine and ammonia. EFFECT: increased efficiency of the method, decreases expense of reagents. 1 dwg
