FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: air is throttled and oxygen content of the air is increased before injection to cylinders of the engine. Phase of injection of a coolant into the cylinders, which is overheated by exhaust gases, and a coolant of a cooling system is in the range: at 5-0 before the beginning of the fuel the injection begins, at 5-10after the top dead center injection ends. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the engine and decreased toxicity of exhausts owing to decreasing pressure at the end of compression stroke. cl, dwg
