FIELD: test technology for films and magnetic tapes. SUBSTANCE: improved stability and reproducibility of material test results is obtained due to more uniform and constant contact pressure between sensor and surface under test. Electric conductivity sensor having relatively motionless electrodes made of stiff material is joined to movable rod through flexible compression member and electric conductivity sensor running is limited which provides for steady contact between electrodes and surface under test. EFFECT: improved measurement accuracy affording evaluation of mechanical endurance and service life of thin-film elastic materials by changes in their electric conductivity. 1 dwg
