FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: device for mooring lighters in hold-dock of barge carrier 1 has fore towing carriage 2 and aft towing carriage 2a which connect both sides of barge carrier 1 and are provided with brackets 3 in which uprights 4 with toothed sectors 5 are arranged; toothed sectors 5 are connected with electric drives for turning them; electric drives are connected with shipboard supply line by means of cable drums on side ends of carriages 2 and 2a. After lighter 11 has been brought to hold-dock of barge carrier 1 by means of docking tug 9, lighter 11 is pressed between uprights 4 of carriages 2 and 2a and is towed to required area of hold-dock; then lighter is pressed to side fenders of hold by slightly turning uprights 4 and is moored to side of barge carrier by any known method.
