FIELD: isothermic furnaces. SUBSTANCE: device for supplying electric power has elongated electrode 3, a current source and terminal 4 of the current source, mechanism 5 for rotating electrode 3 about its longitudinal axis, terminal 4 being capable of sliding around the electrode. When the electrode is positioned horizontally it is provided with a helical bushing at its end. The electrode rotation causes destroying of the stagnation zones in salt baths and prevents medium particles from adhesion to the electrode thus increasing the device service life.
