SUBSTANCE: to simplify the re-equipment from the back digger to the face shovel and vice versa and provide the drive of the working equipment by energy of different kinds (electric, mechanical, hydraulic, etc. ), the shovel through gear 4 interacts with fixed toothed quadrant 2, and the stick through auxiliary gear 7 interacts with gear 5 attached to shovel 3. The shovel on its end has a recess, which freely receives the upper end of the stick. Dipper 11 is controlled by rack 9 actuated by gear 8.
