SUBSTANCE: yielding roof bolting consists of wire anchors 1 anchored in boreholes, pick-up gears 3 made up of metal plates with central holes and clamping members 4 mounted on protruding ends of anchors 1. Clamping member 4 is fabricated in the form of metal plate with bolts and is installed in parallel to pick-up gear 3. Adjacent surfaces of pick- up gears 3 and of clamping members 4 are made wavy ad protruding ends of wires of anchors 1 are bent to different sides and are located between pick-up gears 3 and clamping members 4.
