FIELD: refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: moisture is pulverized into drops and delivered into a chamber with air cooled by adiabatic expansion and accelerated to supersonic speed while passing through the nozzle. Moisture is sprayed to a drop dispersity of 0.1-1.0 microns by delivering vibrations on end surface of vibration concentrator. Sprayed moisture is delivered to air nozzle tangentially to imaginary circle whose diameter is 0.75-0.64 diameter of gas flow in the plane of moisture delivery. Device comprises air blower, Laval nozzle connected to it and installed in refrigerating chamber with injection unit, and metering device connected with water vessel. Injection unit is made in the form of a source of ultrasound connected to vibration concentrator disposed in a spaced relation in hollow heat-insulated bushing provided with radial channel communicating with metering device. EFFECT: improved functional and operating characteristics. 3 cl, 4 dwg
