FIELD: cleaning of sewage waters. SUBSTANCE: settler has clearing chamber and settled particle collecting chamber, branch pipe for supplying liquid to be cleaned, clear liquid discharge branch pipe and liquid distributor. Liquid distributor is formed by guiding vessel and flow spreaders with radially extending variable section chutes and deflectors, with chutes and deflectors being disposed adjacent to vessel. Settler is further provided with spillway and filtering screen, which is mounted on spillway side surface. Simplified construction allows efficiency to be increased by 35-40% . EFFECT: simplified construction of distributor provided amiable hydrodynamic conditions for conducting clearing process, increased cleaning efficiency. 2 dwg
