FIELD: water treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use at aeration stations with special emphasis on reliability of settler and water clarification quality. Settler contains (i) reservoir 1 with central traveling pipe 2 provided with stream distributor in the form of shell 3 and (ii) spouting chute 4. Peripheral part of reservoir is provided with clarification chamber 5 formed by conical partitions 6 and 7. Upper part of partition 7 is placed above the level of spouting chute 4. Chamber 5 has conical shell 8 forming overflow canal 9 from the central sludge chamber 10 into the lower part of chamber 5. Partition 6 forms reservoir 11 to collect activated compressed sludge and is provided with ports 14. Central chamber 10 accommodates radial perforated pipes 16 with collecting chamber 17 connected with sludge-suction device. Pipes 16 are designed for collecting mineralized (old) sludge. EFFECT: increased clarification quality due to more reliable operation of settler. 3 cl, 2 dwg
