FIELD: coating. SUBSTANCE: alloy composition is introduced into a working zone by a rod made from a copper based material which oscillates at frequency of 18-20 kHz and amplitude of 50-70 microns. The rod is fastened to a wave guide which is connected to a magnetostrictive ultrasonic vibrator. The alloy composition is introduced at a frequency of 18-20 kHz at amplitude 50-70 microns under pressure of 20-30 kgf/mm2 when the working zone moves through the rolling surface of rails at speed of 1.0-1.5 m/s. EFFECT: improved quality. 1 dwg
