FIELD: methods of friction-mechanical application of antifriction coatings. SUBSTANCE: method includes application to surface of treated part of medium, for instance, gallium alloy and formation of main friction coating with help of tool from copper alloy with simultaneous rotary and reciprocation motions of tool and its additional motion in plane parallel to axis of treated part under action of ultrasonic vibrations with frequency of 14-16 kHz and amplitude of 30-45 mcm. In so doing, formation of main friction coating is carried out with simultaneous fusion of medium material in zone of contact and application together copper alloy to treated surface.
