FIELD: paper making industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves the steps of: grinding waste paper in aqueous medium in the presence of alkali hydroxide, alkali metal silicate and bleach exhibiting an oxidizing action, adding organic substance and diluting the obtained paper pulp suspension with water and further removing printing ink particles from the suspension. The method is characterized in that plyethylacrylate including diethylaminoethanol groups in the form of an aqueous or aqueous-alcohol solution in amounts of 0.2 wt. % of air-dry paper pulp is used as an organic substance, polymer being added to the diluted suspension of paper pulp at a temperature of grinding waste paper after preliminary keeping the pulp for 60-120 min.
