FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: visual analyzer is stimulated electrically through electrodes located on eyeballs by square pulses with current amplitude of 200-300 μΑA, pulse duration of 10 ms, pulse frequency of 30-40 Hz in bursts of five pulses at recurrence frequency of one pulse per second. EFFECT: reduced time of treatment, increased visual acuity and prevented complications.
