FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing active electrode to eyelid of each patient eye in temporal and nasal way when keeping the eyes closed in dorsal position. The indifferent electrode is fastened on a hand with wet washer. Stimulation with a series of rectangular monopolar electric impulses of 10 ms duration and 15- 25 Hz frequency is carried out in package mode (5 impulses in a package) when package frequency is equal to 0.5-1 Hz, duration is 30-60 s with 30 s pause between package sequences. Electric current amplitude range is equal to 200 to 350 mcA. 8 sequences of packages are produced. The treatment course is 6-8 sessions long. Ophthalmologic control is carried out in dynamic mode in course of stimulation using phosphene-arising thresholds. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 1 tbl
