FIELD: ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary determination of degree of affection of various parts of visual analyzer and its percutaneous electrostimulation through multicontact electrode whose contacts located on eyelids and eve socket by application of voltage successively to each contact with series of biphase rectangular pulses in trains. In case of presence of zonal foci of affection of visual analyzer, electrostimulation is carried out by application of voltage successively to all contacts beginning from contacts located in zone topically corresponding to less affected part of visual analyzer, and then by application of voltage to contacts located in zone topically corresponding to the most affected part of visual analyzer. EFFECT: higher efficiency of vision restoration and extended field of application.
