FIELD: cleaning of gases. SUBSTANCE: device for cleaning dust-and-soot discharges occurring during remelting of chips comprises smoke-delivering duct and filter which has casings with gas inlet and outlet pipes and a removable hood, a container with perforated bottom and filtering charge of metal chips. Upper part of hood has spheroidal channels for gases, container bottom is cone-shaped while gas inlet pipe has a nozzle connected to compressed gas source.
