FIELD: welding technique. SUBSTANCE: device has housing and clamping spring-loaded jaws. Current-supply jaw has bracket and stop for electrode inclined towards its bearing surface. Hold-down jaw has bevelled starting surface and working surface which is inclined towards bearing surface of current supply jaw and to its stop. Hold-down jaws has two projections which are mounted for engagement with opposite surfaces of bracket of current supply jaw. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
