FIELD: manual arc welding. SUBSTANCE: electrode holder includes a current conductive seat with a groove for the electrode. Two end rests are mounted on the seat in such a way, that one rest is placed along the groove and another across of it. Two cross slits are provided in the seat, the slits extending along the whole width of the groove. One slit is arranged near the cross rest and the other opposite a clamping jaw. The seat has an acute edge for engaging with a coat of the electrode, being placed to a clamping unit. EFFECT: enhanced structure of the electrode holder. 1 cl
