FIELD: cleaning of water surface from petroleum products. SUBSTANCE: in its central part the device has platforms 1, swirler 3 made in the form of spiral plates 4 decreasing in height towards the center, forming a space having the shape of a cone whose larger base faces downwards; receiving sleeve 5 is placed in the cone center for vertical movement. The device is provided with withdrawable V-shaped guides and a dropping flap. During rotation of swirler 3 the petroleum film is entrapped by spiral plates 4 and forced to the center through a converging corridor formed by spiral plate walls, is accumulated, rises and is delivered to the receiving sleeve.
