FIELD: manufacture of kinescope screens. SUBSTANCE: coat to reduce dazzling glitter of direct vision surface of cathode-ray tube is manufactured by heating of surface of glass backing to temperature higher than room one but not higher than 50 C, by covering of heated backing with aqueous solution containing silicazole stabilized with lithium and inorganic metal compound, for instance, soluble salt of palladium and by drying of deposited coat. Then surface of glass backing is heated to temperature which is higher than first one but lower than 65 C and is cured at this temperature for the course of time sufficient for development of optical and physical properties of coat. After that coat is flushed with water and dried. EFFECT: decreased dazzling glitter of cathode-ray tube. 2 cl, 1 dwg
