FIELD: color television. SUBSTANCE: proposed color cathode-ray tube has envelope with pumped-away air housing electron gun to form one electron beam as minimum. Envelope additionally includes face panel with luminescent screen and phosphorus lines arranged on internal surface. Mask focusing voltage along one axis and having assemblage of first metal conductors is located close to effective region of image of screen. Intervals between first metal conductors correspond to numerous slits parallel to phosphorus lines of screen. Each first metal conductor arranged transverse to effective region of image of screen has uninterrupted first layer of insulator on face side of screen. Second layer of insulator cover first layer of it. Numerous second metal conductors arranged perpendicular to first metal conductors are coupled to them with the aid of second layer of insulator. First insulating layer has coefficient of thermal expansion equal or less than that of first layer of insulator. Second insulating layer has coefficient of thermal expansion equal to coefficient of thermal expansion of first insulating layer.
