FIELD: television. SUBSTANCE: unit of electron gun for kinescope includes at least two supporting rods 4 electrically insulated, manufactured from glass and anchored in base of neck 1 of glass bulb 2. Rods 4 have assembly 11 and locating 12 surfaces. Locating surface 12 has two recessions 15 and 16 arranged along axis of rod 4. Recession 15 is extended along rod axis and recession 16 is made round. Electrodes 5 are attached to assembly surface 11 of each rod. In process of manufacture of unit of electron gun electrodes 5 are installed in mandrel and rods 4 are positioned in welding gear which has heads which number corresponds to number of rods with set pins. Rods of welding gear when rods 4 are put into it are placed in recessions 15 and 16 ensuring centering of rods 4. Thus strict matching of relative positions of rods 4 and electrodes 5 is provided in process of welding of electrode lugs into rods 4. EFFECT: prevention of distortions of path of electron beam thanks to improved smoothing of rods in process of attachment of electrodes to them. 3 dwg
