FIELD: continuous galvanic treatment of metal straps. SUBSTANCE: horizontal cell has a pair of sealing rolls which rotate in opposite directions. The rolls are disposed in the input of strap N. Sealing rolls are disposed in output of strap N rotate in different direction. Electrolyte is fed under pressure through two independent systems- lower and upper - without any additional sealing members. Electrolyte passes above and under strap N along two horizontal channels, formed by N strap and top and lower anodes. Screening device is provided for longitudinal edges of the strap which has system for regulating lateral position of masks depending on lateral oscillations of the strap when it moves. Top group of soluble anodes 20 is mounted for removal that permits to treat lower surface of the N strap only or to treat N strap in top lower sides. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 3 cl, 9 dwg
