FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: a splitter in the form of a wall parted into parts by a horizontal partition is built in the blast cupola shaft. The parts are in communication by a gas duct with a built-in carbon oxide afterburner. The products of afterburning are discharged into the shaft through a window in the upper part of the splitter, and the coke chute is connected to the lower part of the splitter.
