FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: light trap has reservoir filled with water and fish, and pipeline with fan and light source disposed at its upper end. Lower end of pipeline is connected with reservoir above its base. Insects attracted by light are sucked by fan into pipeline. Then insects are conveyed by air flow into lower part of reservoir, where they are soaked while passing through water. As a result insects lose flight ability and they are eaten by fishes.
