FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: transdermal system consists of integumentary, glue, reservoir and, if necessary, protective layers. Reservoir layer has polymeric material taken from a group of block-copolymer on the basis of styrene and 1,3-diene, polyisobutylene, polymers on the basis of acrylate and/or methacrylate and esters of hydrogenated colophony. The sources of reservoir layer polymeric material: linear block-copolymer styrene-isoprene-styrene, linear block-copolymer styrene-butadiene-styrene, copolymer of 2-ethylhexylacrylate with vinyl acetate, acrylic acid and titanium-chelate-ester, copolymer of 2-ethylhexylacrylate with vinyl acetate and acrylic acid, or copolymer of diethylaminoethylmethacrylate and neutral ester of methacrylic acid. The source of hydrogenated colophony ester: its methyl- or glycerol ester, dioxylcyclohexane, triglyceride or isopropylmyristate, or di-n-butyladipate. Transdermal system releases physostigmine for at least 24 h and retains stability of physostigmine at storage for 3-6 months.
