FIELD: material machining. SUBSTANCE: method for laser welding of thermoplastic materials involves assembling materials in a stack of which each pair of adjacent sheets is sandwiched with a sheet of material transparent to laser radiation, with the absorption factor β=0-0,19 sm-1, and forcing together. The sheets are heated by radiation at power 10-12 Wt, while being conveyed at 0.24 - 0.80 m/min under a pressure of gas flow of 0.1-0.12 CA. In addition, the transparent sheets are made of a combination of salts of alkaline-earth metals. EFFECT: increased production output. 2 cl, 1 tbl
