FIELD: filtering materials. SUBSTANCE: rod of thermoplastic material of the general formula -CH2-CHO-(CO)C6H4(CO)-O-(CH2-CH2O)N-(CO)-C6H4COO-, where n = 1-5 (mol. mass is 16000-30000, m. p. is 70-250 C, ductility index is 13,2-48,8 at 220- 260 C) is fed to the molding zone at field intensity 1-15 kW/cm. Terminal part of rod is heated up to 100-300 C. Jet of fiber-forming material, which is formed in electric field, is blown with ionized gas unipolarly at concentration of H-ions 105-107cm-3 in electric field.
