FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: collimated beam of monochromatic X-ray radiation is directed on heated object in the form of filament, position of diffraction maximum is measured and by its temperature dependence temperature averaged over the whole volume of material is determined. Heating of filament is conducted by means of defocussed laser radiation. Prior to heating filament is deformed mechanically. EFFECT: reduced time of measurement, improved authenticity of measurements. 4 dwg
