FIELD: prevention of fish from getting into water intakes provided on fishy rivers and channels. SUBSTANCE: fish screen consists of water dividing wall located before water intake channel. Vertical hollow rod is installed before wall for rotation. Rod inner hollow is communicated by means of pipeline with compressed medium source. Rod has perforation ducts tangent to its side cylindrical surface and directed towards side opposite to its rotation direction. Compressed medium flowing out of rod perforation ducts repels fish from water intake. Due to provision of circulation zone round the rotating rod, young fish is concentrated at bank opposite to water intake and is carried downstream. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
