FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: crankshaft consists of main journals 6,7,8, crank webs 9,10,11,12 and crankpins 4 and 5. Connection is made between crank webs 9,10,11,12 and bearing journals 4,5,6,7,8 through plastic deformation. Bearing journals 4-8 are received by their ends by holes in crank webs 9-12. Such crankshaft is so manufactured that straight tubular sections (which are plain on the outside) are made on main journals 6,7,8 and/or on crankpins 4 and 5. These tubular sections are used as connecting zones 21-25 which are inserted in straight axial-parallel through holes 17 - 20 in crank webs 9-12 and are secured by means of thermal expansion of tubular sections with remaining compressive stress in through holes. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 25 cl, 5 dwg
