FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: body has outer and inner (bearing) layers of material. Inner layer is loaded radially and outer layer is evenly loaded axially over circumference. Yield point of material of inner layer is less than that of outer layer. Inner layer may be provided with intermediate bearing members. Body may be made in form of crankshaft, drive shaft or camshaft. During manufacture of the body, radial pressure is created in the inner layer in the area of plastic deformation over its entire length and preliminary tensile stress is evenly created in the outer layer.
