FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines. SUBSTANCE: cam unit has hollow member 1 consisting of at least two oval bushings 3 and ring-shaped connecting bridge 4 arranged between these two bushings 3. Outer peripheral surfaces of bushings 3, extend, at least in zone of minimum radius of curvature over connecting bridge 4. Length of projection of top in zone of minimum radius of curvature exceeds that in other zones, and perimeter of ring-shaped bridge 4 is less than perimeter of oval bushings 3. This hollow member 1 is made of plastic material. Bushings 3 and connecting bridges 4 have practically constant thickness of walls over perimeter. Thickness of wall of connecting bridge 4 exceeds, at least in some of its portion, the thickness of walls of bushings 3 maximum by the value to provide equal cross-section of bushings 3 and connecting bridge 4.
