FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger consists of identical sections 1 in form of bundle of tubes 6 arranged in casing. Tubes are secured in tube sheets 7 and are connected to common headers 22 and 23 of tube and inter-tube spaces. Each header is made of two cylinders arranged concentrically: outer cylinder and inner cylinder at height of 0.5 to 1.5 of diameter of the casing section. Solid radial partitions located in space between cylinders form separate sectors which bring adjacent sections and branch pipes for inlet and outlet of heat-transfer agent in communication. Sections 1 may be located at equal distance relative to longitudinal axis of heat exchanger. Central section may be arranged along axis of heat exchanger. Diameter of inner cylinders is 1.2 to 1.5 of diameter of the casing section and walls of inner cylinders are provided with ports which bring in communication tube and inter-tube spaces of sections. The area of their cross section is 0.7 to 1.5 of area of cross section of the tube and inter-tube spaces, respectively. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 3 cl, 9 dwg
