FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: method makes it possible to reduce volume of waste subject to burial thanks to enhanced degree of extraction of boric acid out of liquid radioactive waste at nuclear/atomic power plants with boron control. Processing of liquid radioactive waste includes process of concentration of liquid radioactive waste, crystallization of formed concentrate with additional control over crystallization process carried out in sequence. If there is no section of disruption of monotony of temperature dependence concentrate is returned to start of cycle for repeat process of concentration of waste. With appearance of section of disruption of monotony concentrate is directed to separation of solid phase from mother liquor. Solid phase separated from mother liquor is dissolved in desalted water and/or in flushing solution from anion-exchange resin filters, recovered solution is ultrafiltered and filter liquor is passed through anion-exchange resin filter till pH eluate downstream from anion-exchange resin filter starts decrease. Then anion-exchange resin filter is flushed and regenerated, reclaimed product is passed through ion-selective filter and is subjected to process of concentration to 80.0-250.0 g/l in terms of boric acid.
