FIELD: laser technology. SUBSTANCE: gas combined-discharge ionizer has charge voltage source, storage capacitor, switch, discharge chamber with ionizing electrodes, and two nonlinear inductance coils. Discharge-chamber electrodes are connected through one of inductance coils to storage capacitor. Other nonlinear inductance coil is inserted between storage capacitor and switch. Charge voltage source is connected to storage capacitor through second nonlinear inductance coil. Switch is connected in parallel with charge voltage source; ionizing electrodes of discharge chamber are insulated from medium by dielectric material. EFFECT: improved electron density in discharge, enlarged power input in combination discharge and radiation power of laser which is pumped by using combination discharge. 2 dwg
