FIELD: quantum electronics. SUBSTANCE: frequency conversion of laser radiation is carried out by simultaneous excitation of active medium 3 by focused and parallel radiation beams from pumping source 1 by means of passing these beams through lens 2 which overlaps pumping beam partially. The lens has either hole or it has diameter being lesser than diameter of pumping beam. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
