FIELD: laser engineering.
SUBSTANCE: laser radiation frequency converter based on stimulated raman scattering includes a pumping source with an active element which are optically connected and lying on one optical axis. Active element is enlightened on ends simultaneously by the pumping wavelength and Stokes raman scattering wavelength and placed in the laser resonator, formed by focusing mirror and the second mirror. There is a gate on the optical axis between the focusing mirror and the active element. Focusing mirror is concave, facing the active element by its concave side, reflecting at pumping wavelength and Stokes radiation wavelength. Second mirror is in the form of a meniscus, facing the active element by its concave surface, reflecting at pumping wavelength and semitransparent for Stokes radiation wavelength, concave surface of meniscus is enlightened on pumping wavelength and Stokes scattering wavelength.
EFFECT: technical result is creation of compact device, with reduced divergence of laser radiation at the outlet, production of laser radiation, safe for eyes, with stable and resistant resonator and with a flat wave front at the output of the laser.
