FIELD: experimental medicine. SUBSTANCE: object of new method is minimization of number of post-operative complications by restoring conditions for normal flow of mesenteric blood to liver after application of spicy portacaval shunt in end-to-side fashion. Object of invention is attainable by applying portacaval shunt in end-to-side in already known manner, additionally ligating common trunk of mesentrial veins below point of fusion of latter with splenic vein, incising trunk and anastomosing proximal end of this vein with hepatic end of portal vein in end-to-end manner using autovenous transplant. EFFECT: lower number of post-operative complications. 1 dwg
