FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to marine and diving medicine. In the first hour after impact by higher pressure with further decompression maximal level of decompression intravascular gas-formation is determined. Degree of severity of acute decompression disturbances (S) is calculated by formula: S=1.35+0.63×(M)-0.02×(D), where: M is maximal level of decompression intravascular gas-formation during echo-location of blood flow by M.Spenser scale in L.K.Volkov's modification in points; D is time of decompression in minutes. If S value is to 0.5 points, decompression disease is not diagnosed, from 0.51 to 1.5 points, presence of decompression disease of light degree of severity is diagnosed; from 1.51 to 2.5 points - medium degree of severity, more than 2.5 points - severe degree of disease is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase reliability of determination of decompression disease severity.
