FIELD: nuclear power. SUBSTANCE: the device for removal of hydrogen from a gas mixture containing hydrogen and oxygen, whose presence is conditioned by the specific features of nuclear reactor loading, is intended to absorb the hydrogen produced at reactor damages thus acting against the danger of formation of an explosive hydrogen-oxygen mixture. The device uses a great number of catalyst constructions extending in space against each other in such a manner that the convection currents arising under the influence of the reaction heat facilitate agitation of the interior atmosphere and due to it break down the locking layers, if any. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 8 cl, 9 dwg
