FEEDER FOR DELIVERING VISCOUS DIFFICULT-TO-FLOW MATERIALS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, chemical and food industries, construction and other spheres of application. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for uniform delivery of materials to processing plants and devices. Proposed feeder contains hopper with discharge chute, belt conveyor with head and tensioning drums arranged under chute and protective hood with intake duct enclosing the conveyor. Auger is installed on drive shaft over conveyor head drum in zone of falling down of material. Auger is furnished with torsional vibration pulser and inertia mechanism installed from side of drive. Torsional vibration pulser is made in form of planetary gear mechanism with central gear wheel and unbalanced planet pinions in meshing with gear wheel. Planet pinions are installed on carrier which is mechanically coupled with auger shaft. Inertia mechanism is installed on shaft of auger and is made in form of crank connected with connecting rods. Sliders are connected with connecting rods and flexible members secured on mechanism housing. EFFECT: improved reliability in operation. 2 dwg
