SUBSTANCE: cast iron has the following composition, wt. -% : carbon 2.5-4.0; silicon 1.1-1.5; manganese 0.9-1.3; chrome 15-20; nickel 1-2; niobium 0.3-0.8; zirconium 0.05-0.1; boron 0.05-0.1; tungsten carbides 3.8-4.5; nitrogen 0.1-0.18, and iron - the rest.
