FIELD: hydraulic construction, water purification devices. SUBSTANCE: water purification device comprises pit 5 complete with filtering cell; water lines: supply 1, outlet 2, and drainage 23. Supply 1 and outlet 2 water lines are made as pipelines having its ends disposed in pit 5. Supply 1 and outlet 2 water lines are provided with plugs 6 and 7 and with windows made on their lateral surfaces. The filter cell is made in the form of drum 10 having circular flanges 11 and 12. The filter cell is attached via flanges 11 and 12 to ends of supply pipe line 1 and outlet pipe line 2 for axial displacement and alternating covering of windows 8 and 9 of supply pipe line 1 and outlet pipe line 2. The face of drum 10 mounted on outlet pipe line 2 is provided with flexible hose 13 having one of its ends attached to flange 12 of drum 10 and another mounted on external surface of outlet pipe line 2 by means of stop ring. The device is provided with drum displacement drive made as water receiving tank 16 having partition 17 and drain orifices 18 and 19, with supply pipe 20 complete with control valve 21 and cable-and-pulley system 22 connected to flanges 11 and 12 of drum 10.
