FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: water intake construction includes inlet and overflow channels joint with overfall and water receiver. Outlet pipe is connected to the receiver. Water intake in the form of netted drum is placed beyond the overfall. The drum is installed on a horizontal crosswise axis. A screen and a filter of arched cross section are attached to internal drum surface. A visor of arched cross sections hinged to free edge of the screen and form water passing window. Drum electric drive with control device made in the form of a timer. The timer has an electric circuit and contacts. Outlet pipe is placed under the drum and join its wall. EFFECT: increased efficiency in filter regeneration and reduced man-hours. 6 dwg
