FIELD: electrochemical industry. SUBSTANCE: electrolyzer has cathode formed by dispersed particles coated with catalyst. Cathode allows cathode oxidation depolarization reaction to be conducted in the process of electrosynthesis. Anode provided with current-conductive members has axial through perforations and radial through perforations connected with axial perforations. Cathode is formed by cylindrical screens with stiffening ribs. Space between screens is filled with dispersed particles of cathode material. Electrolyzer is further provided with members for supplying electrolyte into annual space defined by outer screen of cathode and electrolyzer housing, and with members for introducing oxygen into electrolyte as well as with members for introducing electrolyte into through axial perforations of anode. EFFECT: reduced power consumption and increased service life of electrode assembly. 3 dwg
