FIELD: automotive engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotary internal combustion engine has hollow casing with cams and hollow cylindrical rotor with bevels, shaft, and flat pistons with hinged brushes received in radial grooves of the rotor to reciprocate and form working chambers with inner walls of the casing and engage with cams. The engine also has inlet and outlet ports, ignition spark, spray nozzle communicating with fuel tank, and water cooling and lubrication systems with oil tank and oil lines. The rotor has outer brake mechanism, whereas the spray nozzle has the form of a plate with holes secured in wall of the casing at the side of working chamber in parallel with the axis of the rotor. The chamber of the spray nozzle communicates with the fuel tank by way of two fuel lines connected to either side of the chamber. Interior of the casing has closed grooves at end walls. Hinged brushes are mounted at ends of pistons for cooperating with walls of the casing and engagement with the cams received in annular grooves. Interior of the rotor communicates with oil tank by two oil lines at either side of the casing. Pistons have passages communicating with the interior of the casing and with the brushes.
